My husband works for a large company with a fantastic culture. At one of their conferences, they had some amazing workshops, but no formal mixer. I couldn't help but think how fun it would be to mix and mingle with the other team members. Maybe there was a potential mentor, or a friend he could partner on projects with?
That led me to doing research into the benefits of friendships in work culture and the results confirmed my suspicions - friendships at work increased everything - productivity, longevity, creativity, well-being, motivation and more.
As company cultures thrive, this can lead to more overall growth across the board, along with individual well-being. That's my kind of win-win!
Now, am I saying that hosting a shuffle will raise your net profit?? Legally, no - but I am strongly implying it!
